– Proficiency is required in all aspects of Wintel administration including hardware and software installation and troubleshooting, operating system configuration and security, backup and recovery, capacity planning, monitoring, performance and tuning, research and evaluation of tools and techniques, scripting and automation, standards and procedures related to the environment
– Creation, maintenance and execution of High Availability and Disaster Recovery plans and proposals of alternative Wintel architectures and solutions
– Independently lead projects starting from the technical evaluation phase to ascertain impact on existing systems, provide risk analysis to proposed solutions and managing resources from different teams, delivering goals on time.
– Work on process improvement and/or automation opportunities.
– Perform Tier 3 support activities for Window 2003/2008/2012/2016 member servers / services
– Receive escalations from level 1/2 support teams and participate in oncall and weekend work rotations.
– Follow-the-sun support including integration into local, regional and global virtual teams."
