Job Title:	Project Manager
Department:	Customer Delivery
Job Location:	Tokyo, Japan
Reporting To:	Senior Program Director

Main Purpose of the Job:

Manages all aspects of diverse, medium to moderately complex projects, including project planning, execution, timing, functionality, quality, and cost. Works across multiple teams and organizations to ensure project completion. Utilizes expertise and leadership skills to direct team members and to resolve issues to ensure project goals and requirements are met. Communicates with end-users to provide timely and accurate information and status updates.

Key Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Ideal candidate thrives in a highly charged, continuously changing environment where a sense of urgency and calculated quick response are keys to success
Understand project scope, critical path functionality and cost throughout the lifecycle from greenlight through go-live
Monitoring and tracking to completion all project to ensure readiness for project milestones.
Remain knowledgeable of key processes, business initiatives, and internal resources in order to assist internal teams in pursuing and accomplishing company goals
Be the primary single point of contact for communicating to internal and external stakeholders
Lead project meetings, including software and hardware entrance and exit meetings
Be a good decision maker, expertise from relevant teams to make good judgment calls
Record and track Change Requests from customer to ensure the upsell

Education and Experience:

Five years’ experience managing technical projects
PMP or similar Project Management certification preferred
Proven project management experience and team leadership
Strong customer facing experience, Strong communications and presentation skills
Excellent issue tracking/management skills with appropriate follow-up, including escalation and influencing skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to work independently while handling multiple projects with changing priorities and deadlines
Proficiency in English required

Self-motivated, plenty of initiative, an excellent communicator, team-worker, willing to work in a busy environment, a flexible attitude to changing priorities, responds positively to requests for assistance from other departments/divisions in the company, flexibility to adapt working hours to respond to project or company needs, willingness to travel if needed.
