Roles & Responsibilities

Overall 10+ years of development experience with minimum 4+ years of Microservices experience

Works with a technical team to create the UI High level and Detailed Design for the applications

In-depth knowledge and practical experience with delivering cloud native applications, microservice design and service-oriented architecture (SOA) designs,

Performs hands on coding using Java/J2EE & unit testing

Contribute to the Design and develop high quality software for large scale Java/Spring Batch/Micro-service Applications

Perform unit and system testing of application code as well as execution of implementation activities.

Ensures that expected application performance levels are achieved. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents, maintains, and modifies computer programs of high complexity, significance, and risk.

Skills

• May require a bachelor degree in Computer science and 10 years of experience in the field.
• Proven experience as a Technical Architect
• Proficiency in the following general areas: Java (Java 1. 8), Spring Framework, Jenkins, Gradle, and GitHub
• Experience with RESTful services, Apache Kafka, AMQP, JSON, Unix Scripting, and Hadoop is a plus
• Core development experience in large scale enterprise Java applications using Spring Framework.
• Experience in SQL (DB2 & SQL databases)
• Extensive knowledge of architecture and digital concepts, practices and tools
• Experience working in environments using an Agile methodology and with a DevOps culture
• Exposure to iOS/Android releases, and AWS
• Strong planning and organizational approach to research and analysis of architectural issues and conceptual designs
• Strong interpersonal skill in areas such as teamwork, facilitation and negotiation
• Resolve technical issues for designers and developers during project lifecycle
• Excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills on Java/J2EE technologies
• Experience working with coordination of multiple teams
