Job Requirements

8+ years of experience with SLES, RHEL, Solaris, AIX

5 + years’ experience in VERITAS Cluster Systems and VxVM Storage foundation

5+ years of experience with systems administration: upgrades, patching and configuration management, performance management, troubleshooting, analysis and capacity planning.

Expertise in x86 Server hardware (HPE DL, BL & C7000 essential)

Excellent understanding of networking. Strong skills in TCP/IP Networking & advanced systems tuning, network topology and firewalled environments.

Broad knowledge of other Unix Operating Systems and associated add-on technology stacks

OS level problem analysis and tuning experience (memory, disk, network, file system, etc.)

Experienced and proficient with providing Service Level 3 support

Knowledge and strong working experience with various protocols & services: NFS, NIS, DNS, DHCP, IP, TCP, UDP, IGMP, FTP, TFTP, NTP, SSH

Skill set of different storage technologies

Experience in Perl and Shell scripting writing scripts to automate various tasks.
