Experience : Experience working within the financial industry is required, with the following knowledge preferred but not a must have:

• Background in Fixed Income / Bond Trading systems
• Exposure to FIX API protocol and financial systems integration
• Experience working with OMS, EMS and ECN technologies
• Basic understanding of Buy-Side and Sell-Side workflows

REQUIRED TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE: 

• Java background is a must have
• Development of multi-tiered, distributed systems
• Good knowledge of OO principles and design patterns
• Linux/Unix experience is required
• Knowledge of non-functional and performance related issues
• Productivity Tools,  JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo, Maven, Git, Teamcity
• Continuous integration and process automation

 PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Web programming, JavaScript, AngularJS, Ajax, WebSockets, React, JSX, Redux, CSS, SASS, Bootstrap, PHP, Phython, Ruby
• SQL & Database experience, MySQL preferred
• Network protocols HTTP SSL
• Cloud based infrastructure exposure
• XML/ATDL experience is strongly desired
• Middleware technologies, MQ, JMS, Gemfire
• RESTful web services and associated technologies
• Basic understanding of networking/connectivity concepts
