• Hadoop planning, deployment and administration experience
• Strong Linux skills
• Experience in using Hive, Impala, Spark, HBase, SOLR, Zookeeper, Pig, Storm, Oozie
• Familiar with HDFS, getting data into HDFS (Flume, Sqoop, REST interfaces, etc)
• Familiar with YARN and MapReduce (YARN cluster architecture, resource allocation, failure recovery, etc)
• Strong in core Java server-side programming, shell scripting, Python, NoSQL and SQL
• Strong development skills around Hadoop, Hive, Pig, HBase, Mahout/R, Map Reduce, Spark
• Experience with one or more of Hadoop distributions such as Cloudera
• Some experience in using ETL tools (SAS)
• Background in Data Warehousing / Business Intelligence desired

 Min 2-3 years of exp with Hadoop and overall 5-7 years of IT experience with hands on project experience.
