Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the business and operations stakeholders, collect and write business requirements in the Agile form - user stories/ use cases etc.
  • Experience with developing and maintaining project documents like Business Requirements Documents, process flows, wireframes etc.
  • Writing individual stories that are very clear and concise and are easy to understand and implement by the development team
  • Identifying related user stories and epics, grouping them into themes as necessary and documenting the interrelationship and associated business process flows as necessary
  • Work with technology partners to review functional solutions documentation
  • Analyzing a broadly-defined area and using functional decomposition to define high-level epics and stories to create a well-organized, value-driven framework to provide the required business value in the Product Backlog
  • Document future business processes
  • Participate in UAT cycles, including preparing and executing test cases and resolving issues with technology
  • Process improvements and simplification of existing functions
  • Deliver end user training
  • Work with senior stakeholders for both technology and business
  • Integrate data analytics, product metrics, user experience research, competitive and market analysis, and company goals to drive prioritization of product initiatives

 

Requirements (Skills & Experience)

  • 10+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst within financial institution managing customer facing applications, ideally insurance or retail banking
  • Extensive experience in collecting user requirement and supporting production on customer journey
  • Exposure to different platforms, desktop, tablets, mobile, call centre, IVR, chatbot, ...etc
  • Solid experience in payment gateway and other interfaces
  • 5+ years of experience of working in an Agile environment; conversant with Agile tools like Confluence, Jira, Rally, etc.
  • Experience bringing together and working with cross functional delivery teams
  • Ability to solve complex problems and develop solutions and communicate to the organization in an actionable manner
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities
  • Strong leadership, communication, and prioritization skills
  • Collaborative, with flexibility of working with different teams in Digital and across firm
  • Strong grasp of new technologies, competitive landscapes, marketplace, and the banking regulatory environment
  • Experience with continuous integration practices for speed to market is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree required
